Every year, people celebrate Christmas on December 25. It’s been that way for a while, and I feel like it’ll probably stay that way for years to come. So why is this town celebrating Christmas early? Do they not care about the calendar? Do they hate the month of December?
As it turns out, these residents are pushing Christmas up a bit to do something kind for a special little boy named Evan Leversage. That’s because Evan was recently diagnosed with cancer. When doctors told his family that he was nearing the end of his life, they decided to celebrate Christmas a little bit early. While it was initially supposed to be a small celebration, the whole town decided to surprise them with something beautiful.

What a touching moment. We hope that a miracle helps little Evan stay here for many Christmases to come. If not, it’s at least reassuring to know that the community will be there for his family no matter what. Best wishes and happy holidays to little Evan and his amazing crew!
