New Ad Tries to Scare Women About Guns Ends Up Making the Case for Owning One Instead

by Gina Cassini | Top Right News

The Mike Bloomberg-funded gun grabbing group Everytown For Gun Safety has a new ad out trying to scare the bejesus out of women about guns.

But it seems to have done precisely the opposite, making the case for why women should be armed. EPIC FAIL

WATCH:

The ad starts with an unrealistic premise, with a mother calling 911, as her ex-husband pounds on the door. When he kicks in the door he doesnt attack her, but grabs for their son. Huh? Then they scuffle and he draws a gun on her and shoots (off camera). The plot makes makes no sense, of course, but that isnt the point. I watch it and think good thing Ive got my Glock.

And this seems to be the consensus. Even the liberal ladies of The View came the same conclusion. Sherri Shepherd said:

[W]hen I was at my home and the alarm went off, and I ran to my sons bedroom and Jeffrey was crying, and I realized all I had to protect me and somebody coming around that corner was a daggone wicker trash basket.

When youre standing there, and you dont know how to protect your child? Get a gun in your home!

Good advice, Sherri! Heres the full exchange:

Looks like Mikey Bloomberg wasted about $10 million on that ad.
