Ecogear Product Review and Giveaway

All I need is a backpack, a book and a bottle of water and I am happy. I love backpacks. I never made that transition from the teenager using a backpack to the adult carrying a purse. Its just not me and it will likely never happen. I have finally accepted my backpack wearing ways. So I was more than thrilled when I had the chance to review Ecogears Recycled Backpack.

Whats the Product?

Ecogear The recycle Series Palila

First Impressions

For a sporty gal like me this bag fits me to a tee! Awesome. Love it love it love it. Cant wait to use it.

How I used it

I think it is time to retire my old and tired free Sierra Club backpack! Right out of the gate, I love the feel of this Ecogear backpack.

For my first test drive, I used it to pack our 3-year-old daughters essentials when we went out to dinner. The first thing we noticed was the handy internal organization pockets, as well as the number of large sections. The backpack has two large sections and two smaller ones, which are perfect for your wallet, keys and cell phone; all of which make organizing a ton of stuff very easy. One of the best features on the bag is the handy side pockets for your water bottles. Obviously, eco-gear was thinking because they used elastic on the side pockets, which helps hold your water bottles in place, no more spills!

The backpack has padded shoulder straps as well as a thick layer of padding on the back side; this backpack is definitely built for comfort. I havent had a cushion on my pack back since I did a three week hike in the Arizona wilderness…. AHHHH it is a bit luxurious for me, but I could definitely get used to it.

The only problem so far is that the front zipper appears to have a slight defect, every time I open and close it, it gets stuck. Slightly annoying, but I suspect it is just with my bag. Even with the sticky zipper, Eco-Gear is a fabulous product that I would highly recommend.

How does Mother Earth feel about this product?

Mother Earth is just delighted with Ecogear. The name says it all. The bag is made from 100% RPET (recycled polyethylene terephthalate) water bottles, they use only non-toxic dyes & materials, and they minimize the packaging for shipping so the product arrives in a single box with no other wrapping or packaging involved. Eco-Gear bags are made with planet-friendly organic cotton, PVC-free materials and toxic-free components. Instead of PVC they use ecoweave which is toxic-free, PVC-free, Chlorine-free, free of dioxin, phthalates and heavy metals, it carries no ozon-depleting chemicals and is clean to recycle. Ecogear says it all: Ecogear is committed to helping to save the world, one bag at a time. Mother Earth is definitely happy with this company.

Is it a Healthy Product?

Well it is definitely healthy for the planet, which ultimately affects all of our well-being. And it doesnt hurt that you will not be absorbing or inhaling any toxic chemicals while wearing or using this pack. I say it is definitely meets my standards for a healthy product.

How does this product impact my wallet?

It is surprisingly inexpensive. To get a hip, high functioning backpack that is made out of recycled, non-toxic materials for $39.99, is a steal!

Would I recommend this product to a friend?

Absolutely… its recycled, meets all your needs and looks great whats not to recommend.
